Brembo Sport

This is the true High Performance Disc/Pad program, designed to replace the OE disc in terms of performance whilst retaining the original disc dimensions. All the discs are manufactured in High Carbon Steel (High Carbon steel discs are quieter and have a higher friction coefficient than conventional steel discs) and are produced in Brembos own foundries in Bergamo, Italy. They are made to an almost fanatical attention to quality and engineering expertise.

Product research and development has resulted in a braking system with technical features that guarantee excellent brakingpower in conditions ranging from normal traffic to the toughest High Performance driving:

1. Brake pads with constant friction coefficient in all conditions, even the toughest.

2. Drilling/Slottingconstantly 'revives' the friction material with a microshaving effect, guaranteeing consistent performances over time.

3. Drilling/Slotting prevents the formation of a film of water on the disc surface in the event of wet conditions. This means the system works effectively even on the first brake application.

4. The products are 100% compatible with standard components.

5. Most of the Sport line is composed of discs with ABE approval granted by the German Ministry of Transport on TUV certification. This is because Brembo actually develops and manufactures its entire range of brakediscs in it's own factories at very high quality standards ensured by stringent checks on the whole production process.

6. The Drilling/Slotting design is a result of extensive optimised experience and research into each disc: peak performances are guarenteed in total safety.

7. The disc hole shape is designed for top performance and minimum additional wear to brake pads.

8. The protective coating/galvanising treatment improves the disc's appearance and prevents corrosion.

9. The discs used are produced with high carbon cast iron.

10. All the range's brake pads conform with and are approved inaccordance with R90 specifications.

The DISCS are mainly available in crossdrilled format with certain references available as a slotted disc (contact us for details of avalable slotted dics).

The PADS incorporate a high performance fast road friction material, which miantain a constant fiction coefficient.
